Rylee's Run - 5k

2023 Rylee's Run 5K

Saturday, May 13th @ 5:00 pm
Mike Rose Soccer Complex

Rylee’s Run 5k commemorates the life of Rylee Rae Vinson, who was born August 16, 2007, at thirty-two weeks and passed away eight days later due to complications of premature birth. Rylee’s parents, long-time GMSA players Jason and Jessica Vinson, established the RIBS soccer tournament in 2010 to help raise money for the charities that have meant to much to them over the last several years - specifically, LeBonheur Children's Hospital's Neuroscience Institute and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

To further honor Rylee’s memory and to repay the kindness and invaluable help extended to the Vinson family by these organization, Rylee’s Run 5K, held the Friday before the RIBS tournament will serve to give back to these worthy causes, in the hope that they will continue to help families in situations similar to Rylee’s.  We also pray these organizations may find additional ways to help all babies to be born healthy.”

This is a family event, open to runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels.

We're excited to finally be back at our regular venue of the Mike Rose Soccer Complex...so we hope you'll join us for this year's event!
