About The Mike Rose Soccer Complex

MIKE ROSE SOCCER COMPLEX is a Shelby County Government owned facility that is privately managed and operated by OS Memphis. This successful private/public partnership was engineered by Mayor Jim Rout, the corporate community, John Talley of OS Memphis and the local soccer community.

The Complex in Memphis, Tennessee sits on 136.17 acres conveniently off Bill Morris Parkway. The Mike Rose Soccer Complex was designed to accommodate exhibition games, tournaments, league games, special events, as well as academies, camps, clinics, and coaches' symposiums.

 

Field Specifications

There are 16 FIFA dimension (115 yards X 75 yards), hybrid Sports Bermuda grass, and lighted playing fields. The fields have a drainage system to assure quick dissipation of water during rain periods. In addition, a state of the art irrigation system is provided to guarantee a healthy stand of grass. Accompanying these fields are fully paved walkways, paved parking spots, permanent restrooms, shaded pavilions, a maintenance building with top of the line John Deere equipment, picnic and recreation area, and a 3-acre lake.

What Makes Us Special?

In August of 2001, the 2,500 plus seat stadium of the complex was complete. This crown jewel makes this facility America's Premier Soccer Complex. The playing surface is state of the art with an underground drainage and sprinkler system. This hybrid Bermuda field is completely flat and measures 116 yards by 72 - 76 yards. The stadium lighting is at 75-candle light. Participant facilities within the stadium structure include showers and locker rooms, a food court, corporate skybox, full media services, administrative offices and a conference room. These on site facilities make the Mike Rose Soccer Complex the only ultimate soccer experience.
