Shotgun Start Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in Blind Flights
Golf Package: $125 per person or $400 per team
Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, complimentary range balls, player gifts, prizes, auction, chance to win a vehicle on hole-in-one, free drinks, lunch, and a putting contest (additional fee).

All Golfers are asked to observe appropriate dress code. Golf shoes with soft spikes and collared shirts are required, no jeans.

STORY BEHIND THE BENEFIT:

Dear Friend and Supporter,

On May 27, 2010 golfers will gather at Memphis National Golf Club in support of  the John Talley Pediatric Neurological Research Fund at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center.

It all began on March 11, 2002, when the Midsouth community lost a very valued member when cancer claimed the life of John Talley. Up until his death, John not only served as the General Manager of the Mike Rose Soccer Complex (MRSC), but he was also the brainchild that conceived both the idea and the business plan for MRSC.  John’s goal was to provide better fields and better opportunities for children to play soccer in Shelby County. To this day the Mike Rose Soccer Complex has not only had a major economic impact on Memphis, Germantown, Collierville and its surrounding areas, but is has also provided many local families and underprivileged children the opportunity to play and learn soccer at a world-class facility.  The Mike Rose Soccer Complex has grown to over 7,000+ games a year with over 22 major soccer tournaments annually.  These tournaments have helped local clubs and teams pay for coaching, equipment, club expenses, etc..  all of which have helped grow a strong base of soccer for children in the Midsouth.

John’s son, Carey Talley, who currently plays professional soccer with DC United started the John Talley Pediatric Neurological Research Foundation.  Inspired by his fathers contribution to the Memphis community Carey and with the help of the MRSC staff, have helped raise over $120,000 for LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center. “My father has given every player in Memphis a high quality facility to play at”, Carey said. "I want to give back to him what he has helped me achieve with soccer”.

Please help LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center by participating as a sponsor in the ‘Fore the Kids’ LeBonheur Golf Benefit. Listed below are various levels of sponsorship available:

Eagle Sponsor: $1,200
Includes complimentary golf for 4 players, lunch, acknowledgement on all tournament advertising materials, and 3 complimentary hole sponsorships with signs included.  You will also be provided space near the registration area to hang your company banner for maximum recognition.

Birdie Sponsor: $750
Includes complimentary golf for 2 players, lunch, acknowledgement on all tournament advertising materials, and 2 complimentary hole sponsorships with signs included.

Hole Sponsor: $200
This sponsorship gets you a sponsor sign at your assigned hole, that each player will see.  You will also be able to set up any materials you wish to hand out to the players at your assigned hole throughout the day.  All you need to do is come with your own table!

Putting Contest Sponsor: $250
Your complimentary sponsor sign will be seen by all players practicing their putting and those participating in the putting contest.

Driving Range Sponsor: $300
Your complimentary sponsor sign and company provided banner will be seen by each player as they warm up for the event at the driving range.

Longest Drive Sponsor: $250 / each
1 Men’s / 1 Women’s: This sponsorship will get you a complimentary sign placed at the chosen longest drive hole.  You will also receive recognition as the sponsor when the prizes are given to each winner.

Closest to the Pin Sponsor: $250 / each
1 Men’s / 1 Women’s: This sponsorship will get you a complimentary sign placed at the closest to the pin hole.  You will also receive recognition as the sponsor when the prizes are given to each winner.

Beverage Sponsor: $250
There will be two beverage carts on the course during the event.  Each player will see your business sign on the cart as they are provided complimentary drinks throughout their game.

Banquet Room Sponsor(s): $150
Lunch will be provided by Memphis National Golf Club in the Banquet room along with prize presentations and auction.  For as little $150 you can have your company banner hanged in the Banquet Room for all to see.
