The Official Vehicle Sponsor of the Mike Rose Soccer Complex
The Mike Rose Soccer Complex and Ford Motor Company have
entered into a partnership to enhance the soccer experience in the
Memphis soccer community. Since 2002 Ford Motor Company has actively
supported the Mike Rose Soccer Complex in such endeavors as the LeBonheur
All-Star Game; LeBonheur Golf Benefit, and certain soccer tournaments.
As the new Official Vehicle Sponsor of the Mike Rose Soccer Complex,
Ford Motor Company will be increasing its presence at the complex
with such things as vehicle displays; interactive games, Ford gifts,
and the inner-city camp. Additionally, the Mike Rose Soccer Complex
and Ford Motor Company will be working together to provide online
soccer contests and soccer scholarships to individuals from both the
youth segment and adult segment (more information below). Mike Rose
Soccer Complex Assistant General Manager, Simon Lacon said, “We anticipate
the partnership being extremely beneficial to the Memphis soccer community.”

Ford Youth Soccer Scholarship
The ‘Ford Youth Soccer Scholarship’ will be presented annually to one
(1) youth player (timeframe TBD). The scholarship shall cover the cost
of one years club fees for the specific player chosen. The scholarship
shall NOT cover any tournament expenses and fees, camp expenses and
fees, referee fees, travel expenses, specialized coaching expenses and
fees, equipment such as uniforms, cleats, shin-guards etc.

Ford Adult Play Promotion
‘Ford Adult Play Promotion’ will be presented annually to one (1) adult
player (timeframe TBD). The scholarship shall cover the cost of one
year’s field fees, State association fees, adult association administration
fees. The scholarship shall NOT cover any tournament expenses and fees,
camp expenses and fees, travel expenses, specialized coaching expenses
and fees, referee fees, equipment such as uniforms, cleats, shin-guards
etc.
Ford Online Memphis Soccer Contest
‘Ford Online Memphis Soccer Contest’ – OS Memphis will run an online
soccer contest once a year targeted at all youth and adult players including
family members (timeframe and type of contest TBD).
Ford Sportsmanship Award
‘Ford Sportsmanship Award’ will be presented annually to
one (1) adult team (timeframe TBD). The scholarship shall cover the
cost of eighteen (18) soccer jersey’s only with the Ford logo appearing
in black and white on the front of the jersey. The scholarship shall
NOT cover shorts, socks, cleats, shin-guards, warm-ups, equipment bags
etc.
